L&L Automotive install C It Now Live Video Presentation tool

L&L Automotive's Mercedes-Benz of Hertford dealership has become the first Mercedes dealer in the world to offer users live video presentations on any of their used cars, just a click away from their website...

The C It Now tool, from software house Zype, is a revolutionary way of getting close up to a Used Car at a dealer that is potentially hundreds of miles away from the comfort of your own house. The Hertford dealer's Sales staff have been extensively trained on the use of this sales tool that looks to encourage long-distance selling of cars, and to put the buyer in the driving seat, without having to set foot in the showroom.

Originally adopted by several Honda dealerships, C It Now have had a seamless integration into the Progress DMS Constructor platform. The software is incredibly easy to use, and opens up the Hertford dealer's stock to a completely new, broader customer base.

A click away from the Used car they are looking at launches the C It Now window, from where the customer calls the dealership. Once connected, the salesman powers up the portable camcorder and sets off into the Used Car forecourt, whilst the user instructs the salesman on what they want to see.

The system has huge potential, not only in the Used Car sales arena, especially as Zype are in the process of developing an archiving facility to enable the dealers to save past presentations they have given.
